Hiding dehydrated or pureed fruits and veggies in everything from pizzas to macaroni and cheese. Everyone agrees the punched up kid-approved foods may have more vitamins and minerals.
But some nutritionists are concerned we’re sending mixed messages. Teaching kids to love pizza and chicken nuggets instead of good-for-you whole foods. Other experts say these products can help bridge the gap as long as they don’t completely take the place of fruits and vegetables on the plate.
