1. Your eyes twitch
Research shows that too much caffeine can increase muscle and nerve activity causing your eyes to twitch. The cure? Cut your coffee intake in half and start drinking more water.
2. Your sleep schedule is off
Caffeine is a stimulant, so too much can disrupt your sleep cycle and the quality of your shuteye. It takes about 6 hours for half of the caffeine in a cup of coffee to be eliminated from your body. It’s best to stop drinking coffee after 4 pm to prevent it from messing with your bedtime.
