Several studies have actually found a link between artificial sweetener use and weight gain.
5. Restrictive dieting
Restrictive diets have been shown to promote eating in the absence of hunger… leading to more pounds not fewer! On the other hand, eating when hungry is associated with reduced BMI, lower triglycerides and reduced risk for heart disease.
