Dying to cut open that avocado?
Here are some tips and tricks to spot when the fruit is perfectly ripe. Dig in!
You want it to be a nice deep green or purplish, instead of bright green. This is a good indicator that your avocado is ready to be devoured.
2. Check under the stem
Gently peel off the stem. If it comes off and reveals green underneath, dig in!
Gently squeeze on the side of the stem. If your avocado is hard, leave it for 3 or 4 days.
